Tom I have bred THE AUTUMN SUN (AUS) 3 times with top DS and DDS and No luck at all I mean dudes But maybe it just my luck
This is
BRIGHT AUTUMN Dosage DI : 0.85 | CD : -0.08 0-2-7-3-0
with my better breeding's and viewing other top horses The DI should be between 250 & 350, the CD below 75 (the lower the better Negative #s are the best) then to get DOUBLE DIGIT # OR TWO DOUBLE DIGIT #S is great (should have at least 3 numbered columns but 5 numbered columns is the best.)

LOL now with all this said it doesnt mean squat . I have had Great runners that have had none of the numbers above, But on the percentage it works! I have had Horse with the best #s I have ever seen and they run like a Turtle with two broken legs LOL, But on the percentage it works!.

This is BROAD BRUSH DI : 3.38 | CD : 0.74 12-17-13-1-3

This is FORTY NINER DI : 2.63 | CD : 0.78 25-7-20-0-6

This is STORM CAT DI : 4.00 | CD : 0.97 11-8-10-1-0

You see where im going with this line of thinking ..BUT what do you guys think ??

Not any of my Criteria is met .... so maybe these #s dont have anything to do with the way a horse runs or wins? But has a lot to do with its breeding Great runners ?

Talking about dosage takes me back a long time lol way back before we could get the dosage figures from the sim.
Here is a page that I made in 2006 to explain dosage to the guys in the Residency I was in at the time.

Nowadays I still use dosage but only as a rough guide to where to start my unraced horses. (not sure dosage really works in the sim why I use as a rough guide).
Going by Dosage Index DI 3.0
Under 3.0 turfer
Over 3.0 dirter

Tom I was thinking the same thing on my The Autumn Sun offspring thats why I still have them.
I have read so much about Dosage and what its suppose to show But it never worked ? But I did notice what I stated above.

Hi Jubal,

Talking of Dosages.
I done the top 20 4yo+ ranked Horses in dirt , turf , sprint , route , long.
Done this to see if it was still the same as 14 years ago and came out pretty much the same as I remember.
There is a summary at the top and the full tables below.
Have a look and lets know what it means for you.
For me it still seems pretty random but there is a slight difference in the averages not as much as you would expect tho.
