FINALLY...i've gotten caught up. Still didn't get to make the full changes I wanted to make for the div challenge and TOTM contests, but I did make some changes to the Div Challenge that will last for this quarter at least.

There are now 7 divisions....elite, master, pro, class, amateur, rookie, inactive.

Elite (Top-10 stables from last quarter)
Master (11-25)
Pro (26-50)
Class (51-75)
Amateur (76-101) <---This is a little over 25 because it was the difference between Class and Rookie
Rookie (101+, all stables scored between 0-99 points last Quarter)
Inactive (total of 148 stables)

Reasons Why I Did This:
Well...it's what I could do without holding up the updates more. I really want to restructure to benefit the truly active members. But I haven't been able to lock down a good system. So in the meantime, creating more divisions, makes for smaller divisions and with that comes more opportunities to win and it's easier in each division due to less stables being included.

Will, appreciate the effort to reward the truly worthy.

It is a start, but still would like to see (time allowing) a ratio of prize credits dependent on what else members do in relation to the residency.

For example ..

1st, 2nd or 3rd Trainers Comp ( no other contests entered) = 50% of credit prize offered
1st, 2nd or 3rd Trainers Comp & played Roys' longshot >50% of series during the quarter = 75%
credit prize
1st, 2nd or 3rd Trainers Comp, played longshot >50% of series & entered in whatever quarterly contest was running during the quarter = 100% of credit prize.

I do not want to cause more hard work for yourself, or scare off members, but would love to see the truly active members rewarded for their efforts instead of the spoils going to players who do nothing more than run their horses each week and bypassing the message board & the great contests again and again.
