Yeah it was a good year made in winnings over 20 million had a few Graded wins and my 1st ever G1. Very Frustrating Game the closer I come to thinking I have it down the farther away I get from that Big winning horse. I had Horses that I bred that should have chewed up the competition but ended up in a petting zoo. But still the best year I ever had and the beat goes on, Its not only the % of a winning horse but a lot of luck, as you all know.

I bred over 250 2 yos by years end in 2019, About mid year I started breeding just bluebloods (which can be very expensive) this made my money winnings go up but not my winning %'s. Breeding a mid % horse is about 1 in 50 in getting a winner where a High %'s horse is about 1 in 10 and getting a Graded winner is about 1 in 50 of High %'s sires, DS and DDS. And after saying all of this my best Horse I bred last year only cost me $4. But one thing I did notice is I used Lion's heart as a sire quite a lot and it seemed for a while I could do no wrong with him, then pow I could not get a winner from him at all which leads me to believe that either the sires are set up on so many #s of top out-put or they are on a Biorhythm.

Also if you have a cheaper bred horse that you get lucky with and is a good to great runner and it comes time to use that horse as a mare or He-mare it seems the breeding will not go from the way the mare ran but more on its breeding ( Cheap breeding will produce cheap runners and High Breeding * no matter how they ran* will produce Good to great runners) LOL but I am sure of one thing .......My Opinion will change
