That's right... if General Crook wins the TC, everyone will win a horse. Been thinking of ways to start giving out the awesome prize ponies, and think this is a great way to kick it off!!!

To be eligible, all you need to do is post here and put two tiebreakers: 1) Winning SP and 2) Winning Margin.

The tiebreaker will determine the order you get to pick the horse.

I will then sponsor a race for all of the horses to have their debuts.

Horse Prize Pool

Thanks,
Will

Thanks Jubal. There were some really good horses that were going to legit love a mile and a half, so the General was going to need to love the mile and a half at least as much given his schedule.

While I'm guessing he probably wasn't going to run at 100% regardless, I think he's just a mama's boy and its too far for him. I deliberately went with Union Rags trying to get that mile and a half Classic winner on top to get a little more out of the foals. All the boys run early and often and make it to the Breeder's Cup Juvenile and then make it to the Derby. Every time. And generally, they do well. But, it seems like in addition to needing a bit more class, they just are better closer to nine furlongs than they are to ten furlongs. I think maybe Union Rags did a good job of getting him to ten - those were legit colts (and filly) he beat in Kentucky - but beyond that might just be too much.

The great thing about the colts out of First Degree Bern is that they all seem to be runners, like their mom. Hundred point sire, thousand point sire: you get something that you can plan a campaign around. The trade-off is that they seem to also inherit her ideal distance preference. :)

First, congrats on a great TC run, sorry it came up short but NWRC is proud of the General! I did it the backwards way with Awesome Force winning the Middle Jewel and New Yorker and losing Bluegrass (10th). Guess that means between us we are a TC champ? haha.

Second, I think someone should still win, so I threw all entries into a random draw (random.org), and the winner was Ron!!

Ron - Pick a horse from the prize pool and let me know where you want it sent.
