changing to turf

ok my star Jungle Pirate
12000015593 who has won G1s, G2s and G3s, has been losing his step at 15 races and over 1.4 mill in winnings and has been ranked #1 in sprints all on the dirt.
I put him in a Turf stakes race today for the 1st time ever on the grass. he finshed 2nd but at the fastest speed he has ever raced !!!!

I did this with Awesome Force
10700007069. Ended up making it back to the BB on the Turf side. Not sure how many horses have done that?

Nice Will good to know
but it does make me wonder should I have been running him on turf all along? he did win his 1st 6 races incl. a stakes, 2 G3, G2 and a G1 so how could I ask for more But it still makes me wonder?
AWESOME FORCE wow what a great Horse and what a run he had !!!! 8 mill in winnings !!!!!
in another note I hit 20 mill in winnings today for the 2nd year in a row .... But I think last year was better for me

Yeah, hard to second guess with that success to this point.
