#6 Bee Happy 7/1

A few more accomplished horses in this field, but this 6yo gelding is the only one with less than 20 races (19). Being a Runhappy x Curlin horse previous trainer(s) ran him in almost exclusively allowance races. When put into a claiming race 3 back, I was more than happy to put in a claim. Here's the bottom line, despite the longish odds, he is 3 for 3 in claiming races in his career. Goes for 4 for 4, and I hate to lose him, but if he weren't mine, I would put in a claim as he has a about 6 more races this year that he should be competitive at the right tag.

i used to be a claiming king lol...i have back off on claiming horses in the last couple of years and trying to build my own champions but i may jump back into the claiming game soon because i did use to find good horses that turned into grade winners or listed winners...

I can understand why you transitioned though. The graveyard of horses. I've spent 200 or 300 BPS to claim hoping they would become studs over time. I could have just bred some curlins. I've slowed down the claiming in the last couple months as I've utilized the farm to keep 12 to 14 horses in a stable. It's amazing how fast the BPS add up when you're not looking.
