Northwest Racing Circuit

Trying to get a read on if we should sponsor all the races we've had in the past, so please hurry and nominate your horses.

It's not set in stone you have to run a horse, but when it comes time to purchase a race and there a few (or no) entries, I probably shouldn't spend our credits.

So please, don't wait until the last minute to nominate.

Have been scouring my barns, and find that most of the conditions don't quite suit my better runners ... I would probably end up entering fillies and mares in the open events rather than run against their own gender, just because the open races suit some of mine better than their own gendered events.

Will have another look during the weekend and endeavor, as always, to find a runner for each and every event.

Certainly don't expect folks to enter horses in over there head just to fill a spot.

I'm giving all residents ONE MORE WEEK to nominate a horse in each race. After that I will open nominations to second entries per resident.

I have added a Turf Distaff (Fillies & Mares) Mile race at 8f. This is new, so please be aware of that if you already went through and nominated in other races.

Also, as of now the Juvenile Turf Filly race has 0 entries, if that number is still 0 or very few, I will combine with the Colts version. Just note in the filly thread if you are ok with running against the boys should that occur.

The same goes for the 12f Turf for fillies, except if we get no entries, I will just not run that race.

There are still many races with few entries, please hurry and nominate so I know where we stand.

Ok, the deadline for ensuring a spot in each race has passed.

If you have a second entry from an NWRC stable, please feel free to nominate. I'd rather see full fields, then 10 races with 5 horses in them. Certainly looks better from a PR point of view.

If for some reason any race goes over the 14 entrant limit, then we'll rank by the horses current ranking.

just went right thru my barns again and found 2 entrants for all but 3 events. Seems I am very light in my dirt colt ranks ... could breed a couple and throw them to the wolves, but will decide later if I am going to do that.
