About the Equinics (who/what/when etc)

The Equinics are an inter-residency competition held every 2 years when the real-life Olympics are on. The event is a series of Graded races that pits each res head-on against every other res. Participation is by residency invitation only.

Equinics this year will be run the weekend of August, 15th 2026. Please visit the official Equinics web page for general info about the event.

Nominations close July 18th, 2026. Selections will be made by July 25th, 2026. This will give selected runners at least 3-weeks to train.

2022 (0 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze) = 4 points (Placed 14th out of 16)
2020 (1 gold, 1 silver, 0 bronze) = 8 points (Placed 13th out of 14)
2018 (1 gold, 0 silver, 1 bronze) = 6 points (Placed 12th out of 14)
2016 (0 gold, 1 silver, 0 bronze) = 3 points (Placed 20th out of 20)
2014 (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze) = 9 points (Placed 12th out of 17)
2012 (3 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze) = 25 points (Placed 6th out of 18)
2010 (0 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze) = 7 points (Placed t-14th out of 20)
2008 (1 gold, 0 silver, 1 bronze) = 8 points (Placed t-14th out of 18)
2006 (3 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze) = 25 points (Placed t-4th out of 20)
2004 (4 gold, 3 silver, 0 bronze) = 24 points (Placed 3rd out of 17)
2002 (0 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze) = 12 points (Placed 10th out of 17)

Race Nomination threads are now available.

Reminder, as ALWAYS I will try and get every resident who nominates at least ONE (1) race, and yes, that means potentially not taking the best nomination. I want all members to have a chance to be a part of it.

Horses MUST be in a residency supported stable as well!
