Is there a minimum points/money won needed to enter stakes races for 3yo's? Restricted or not?

Owner-restricted stakes are open to all horses, even those not otherwise stakes eligible. :)

All horses entering non-restricted listed stakes (with the exception of unraced 2yos) need to meet at least one o f the following criteria:

•The horse must have at least one stakes point in any of the 6 divisional rankings
•The horse must have a winning percentage of at least 50%
•The horse must have been a top three finisher in at least 66% of its races
•The horse must have an earnings per race of at least $5,000 per race
•Have raced at least 5 times and have a CPU value of at least ten times the purse of the race
•Unraced 2-year olds are allowed to race in ungraded stakes races
•The horse is in the stable selected by the person sponsoring the race and the race is NOT graded

For graded stakes for 3yos and up, there are tighter restrictions. These do not apply to 2yos:

•To gain entry into a G1, a horse will have to have at least 16 stakes points in the division the race is, or 64 overall.
•To gain entry into a G2, a horse will have to have at least 8 stakes points in the division the race is, or 32 overall.
•To gain entry into a G3, a horse will have to have at least 4 stakes points in the division the race is, or 16 overall.

+For 3YO ONLY races that are run before July, the points listed in the section immediately above are halved.
+ For Filly and Mare only races, the points listed are also halved.

Thanks Tracy!

I was asking because I think we are going to make the triple crown stakes races instead of allowance.

Trying to get more interest in the races.

I'll donate half the difference in cost - 2100 credits - to bump all 6 to stakes :)
