For me it was an average week only 14 horses running and a couple of wins. One a claimer and one an allowance. Still could of been a heck of a lot worse ;)

Nothing to write home about here, but for what it's worth ... here goes....

45 starters ...

3 wins (only) but one was a stakes event with
MALIBU MON(KY). This colt might be one of the few shining lights in my stables for 2011.

6 seconds ... a handy allowance runner beaten by a better one with a 108sp.

5 thirds and another 15 of the 45 in BP bearing positions ... so only 29 of 45 top 5.

The 5 barns made 335 bp's this week, so still building for the "Next Big Thing".

Not a good week  Bad & UGLY

18 - 0 - 1 - 2 - 2 - 0 & 13 Stinkers

I guess it's time to do some major shuffleing and find some fresh runners...

Yesterday started off awful - I wrote a roysian post on the Del Mar Fan Forum - finally finished it and was checking it over to see if it read right and somehow managed to hit a key on the bottom left of the keyboard (I have no idea which one) and poof - it was gone! I was so mad............

Then - I had more runners in the bottom half of the field than I did in the top half. I can't seem to win a race! :( I wish we could start 2011 over.

 Speaking of ugly how about these number: 14 (0-4-1)

No wins for the 2-man (Sorry Roscoe, I have been a terrible partner.)

My longhot entry couldn't do anything even at low odds.

Let's forget this week and move on:  Better luck in 4561!!!!

Good news: I did spell the res name right!!!!! ;)

No worries Rich mate ... I forgot which stables I had even chosen for the 2-man contest (and you think YOU are a bad partner  )

I'll try and get a few in for this week.

I dropped one of my maidens (Groom In The Sky #65282) hoping to nab a claiming win for the 2-man (suceeded) expecting the horse to be claimed for $35 K (wasn't :D ). Also won the Lonshot Luck when firster Majestic Gulch (# 71034) ran a good 3rd after leading most of the way. Good week 8-)

I had a good week this week. Won a G2 with Dirrty (#193288). He's won 7 in row now and will hopefully win a G1 soon. Won a Stakes in CO with Prado's Choice (162786). Also won 4 races for 2-man. All in all a good week.

Cheers

Gav

Glad to see that some trainers had a good week :D I have decided to go with drastic measures for next week -- I am doubling the amount of Sam Adams that each horse gets. Sometimes it's the smallest things that work. :D
