The first two races I watched this week were winners - however not in NWRC stables. I was pretty happy but I wished I had started at the other end of the list as rarely do things get better. I did have a NWRC maiden winner with Cattail Cove by Arizona stallion Chelokee. Since I rarely have a good horse I am going to try breeding a lot of local horses in my residency stables. I am hoping Mike will go on with his local racing plans and I will have someplace to run them because very few seem to have the capabilities to play on the same field as their better bred counterparts. So look for a lot of - well probably claimers - in my NWRC stables.
In real life, my newly turned 3 YO Cash Receipt, won by 7 lengths in a nice effort last Monday at Turf Paradise. Now if he can just continue to improve......

Congrats with Cash Receipt Roys...hoping for his continued success!
Ran 5 NWRC barns this week, entering 44 runners.
3 winners

...
NO MOTIVATION(IRE) won as the bookies expected in a NW4X turf event over 8.5 with an sp# of 92.
DEPUTY DOO DOO(LA) won a cheap claimer and got me the spoils in the Longshot contest scoring a gate to wire win at 17/1. Third win was an allowance plodder that I dropped to low and easily won but was, as expected, claimed in the process ... such is life in he sim!
Also had 8 seconds, 7 thirds, another 14 in bp bearing positions and the obligatory 12 also rans ... but cannot complain with the 32 from 44 in the top 5 I guess ... just wish for a few more winners!
Efforts brought home 391 bps.

The only thing I got worthy of mentioning was a minor stakes win with HELIOCENTRISM(IRE)
121386.

I'm finally getting around to posting after being away for the weekend but nothing much to say except UGLY 14 (1-3-2)

Maybe that should be VERY UGLY.
I was thinking that Winstar's BIFFER ALLEY(KY) might be a Triple Crown possibility but I'm not so sure after this week. He took the lead at the top of the stretch in the G3 at LA (0514) but tired and finished 3rd in the 8 1/2 furlong race. His SF of 103 was good but not great, allthough it was his LT best. We'll see what happens next time out.
That's all I have to say--on to next week!!
