Will's 2yo's

Pretty thin thus far on the new 2yo's. Last year I started off breeding a bunch early and didn't have a whole lot of success, so this year I am pacing myself, and maybe getting some 2yo's later in the spring/early summer will benefit more.

WHATISTHERISK(KY) - SKY MESA x GRAND REWARD x EVENT OF THE YEAR
Won debut race at 4.5f, but the SP (56) was nothing to write home about. A win is a win, but we'll see what start #2 has in the cards.

STREETMAN(KY) - STREET SENSE x WOODMAN x UNBRIDLED
Won debut race at 5.5f, but this colt posted a nice 72 SP while sitting just off the pace throughout. More upbeat about this one than the prior horse, but it's only one race.

RUN THE NILE(KY) - PIONEEROF THE NILE x CHEROKEE RUN x AWESOME AGAIN
4th in debut with 59 SP. Wasn't gaining ground at the end, but was one of only two in the race passing tired horses. Maybe a sign of added distance being to this ones benefit?

SATURDAY JUSTICE(KY) - ANY GIVEN SATURDAY x HOLY BULL x LIT DE JUSTICE
7th in debut, but was gaining some towards the end. Difficult to think this one wants distance with the breeding, but maybe a 2nd out with a bump to 6f will be the answer.

ACTIVE HANDS(JPN) - JOHANNESBURG x CAT THIEF x PULPIT
Winner in debut posting a 64 SP, while sitting just off the lead. Like the upside of this colt.

HAIL THE BAND(KY) - BLUEGRASS CAT x DIXIELAND BAND x SAINT BALLADO
4th in debut posting 70 SP. Faded a little in the stretch, but still passed horses. Added distance definitely in the cards for this one.

Whatistheirsk, Active Hands, and Hail the Band all look strong. Will be interesting to see if any of them make the leap forward and really become big time.
