Contest Thoughts

Without beating a dead horse, we all understand that overall activity is low and in turn that makes it hard to run contests.
So having said that, after we ran the NWRC/Minnesota contest I spoke with them about interest in maybe combining a couple contests in the new year as they have low activity as well.
It's very hard to run contests for 6 (or less) people and make it any kind of exciting. I'm almost better off just giving each person credits in place of contests.
So I ask, does anyone have complaints if we merge a couple contest with Minnesota? It doesn't mean we won't run our own contests as we always do, but it will give some of our loyal members an opportunity to have some fun.
The first contest on the table is one run by Minnesota. It's an un-raced 4yo contest. I'm waiting for more details, but it's essentially you breed a 3yo now and then run him/her when it turns 4.
Please let me know your (honest) thoughts as a residency.
Thanks,
Will
