About the Equinics (who/what/when etc)

Post by sledge4 »

The Winter Equinics are an inter-residency competition held every 2 years when the real-life Olympics are on. Previously organized by Pastures of Green (the Vermont res), now under the URC banner, the event is a series of G1 races that pits each res head-on against every other res. Participation is by residency invitation only.

Equinics this year will be run on February, 26th 2022. Please visit the official Equinics web page for general info about the event.

Nominations close January 29th, 2022. Selections will be made by February 5th, 2022. This will give selected runners 3-weeks to train.

FAQ
- Equinics is one runner per res per race.
- Full stakes points, full cash value.

Hey Sledge,

Just looking at the Equnics page and noticed that teams need to be in by January 29th so our timeline needs to be moved up. I am not sure how selections are made, but if you need any help please let me know.

Good spot, I either mis-read the dates or something changed afterwards, either way...

New deadlines...

Nominations close > Sunday, Jan 23rd
Selections made by > Saturday, Jan 29th

** Remember, every resident who nominates at least one (1) entry will be guaranteed a runner.
