NWRC summer updates & more

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share some updates...

1) I am on vacation and/or traveling with my daughter for her basketball stuff for a lot of July. Questions, updates, and other things may be sporadically addressed during this time.

2) Tom (jacklad) who is a former rez member has continued to generate our TOTM and Div Challenge pages since he moved on. However, he recently lost his access to the server where he posted our results pages for TOTM and Div Challenge, which was shared with his ASR residency site. As he inherited the rez from the former owner who passed away sadly, he is unable to get GoDaddy to give him the access he needs since he is not the owner. As such, that residencies site is or will be gone and which means he can't post our results.

Once I get some time, I will set up something (I think I can at least) to allow Tom to be able to access the files directly to my server/site. However, with my limited availability (see #1) it may take some time to get set up.

3) Once I get past #1 above, we need to focus on the sim-wide 2yo contest that is coming up in November which is the DUR residency rumble. Click here for a reminder on what's going on.

4) I'd really like to see if we can add some members/stables by the end of the year. If we can't, I'll need to consider cutting back on prize amounts and/or the number of contests in 2025 that we run to help spread out our credits to at least keep the Longshot Luck, TOTM and Div Challenge contests alive. If you have any friends who have some extra stables not affiliated with other residencies or whom may be looking for new surroundings, please recommend us. I'll throw you some credits and/or prize horses if things work out. Having said that, look for the thread with some updates about the Longshot Luck for the summer.
