Lack of pedigree has been exposed in last 2 races for the 2yo Champ but he keeps getting closer so let's see if the extra distance serves him well. This may be a Derby Lock Prep, but a top 3 finish should lock in his place on the first Saturday in May. Off the trail with a sub 5th place finish as I rather cleanup on the G2&G3 minors for the rest year if the rest of this 3yo crop has passed him by.
