How did you do this week??? 4253

Post by lilbitfarm »

I think I will post this topic every week from now on to try and generate some more activity on the board. Hopefully, others besides myself will post-!!!! ;)

Funny how I picked this week to start as it was a pretty bad week for my NMRC barns.

My Stakes runners were 0-5 for a nice round pct. of 0. :P Pinehurst's two runners fared the best with ANGELS SING (KY) just missing by 3/4 length in 5512 at 8.5 on the lawn-a very good effort- and BEGORRAH (KY) closing to be 3rd by 4 in 7212. 3yo filly will get more distance for her next start. My biggest disappoinment was Winstar's BLUE RAISIN (KY) one of my most consistent runners, checking in a lackluster 6th in the open stakes at Colorado (7111). I may give her an extra week off before her next race. After her great Equinics effort I thought she would run well this week. :(

That's it for 4253--on to next week-hope everrybody had a better week than I did.

Overall I didn't have a very good week either. However, I did have a stakes winner and I think it was my only win for the week. Ironically, my filly Miss Street won the race that Rich's filly Angels Sing ran second. I was shocked at performance of my filly because she had never before won a race after starting worse than second. Maybe she is developing another running style.

My week was quite good, especially for my gocashking stable. One of my personal favorites, Peekaboo's Pal (165756) returned to his winning ways in his second start following a lengthy rest period, and he showed a new dimension-passing horses in the stretch! La Rinascita (173540) -a contest horse-returned from a layoff and a dismal run in his last race with a bang and won as the 2nd longest shot on the board and produced a 101 SP. Barnsdale (my namesake) was dropped from allowance to $4,000 claiming and managed to run second and was claimed.

In my whiteglory stable, a horse I touted on the longshot luck thread, Badge of Mystery (178250) finished a strong second at 15/1 and won me this week's 100 credits. I have a feeling with only 8 races, we haven't seen this fillie's best race yet.

All in all, a pretty good week for me with only a few starters :D

I had a pretty good week with 6 top-2 finishes in 11 races (3 wins, 3 places).

The week was lead by Chief Again, who won a stake posting a 109 SP. Making it 3 straight 107+ SP's since dropping from long route races to 8-8.5f.

Last couple of weeks have not been very kind to the Nag barns. But this week coming up nearly half of my horses are going and some up and comers are racing again.... fingers crossed for some decent results... would really like it if I could find a way to have more than one good horse at a time LMAO
