[Update] What has happened to our sim
Re: What has happened to our sim
Has anyone thought about putting a ticker on the front page where each article links to a B2B article for the week, or stats on trainers and horses. Might generate some interest and make the B2B more intriguing for everybody. Remember everyone sees the homepage. As I mentioned earlier it's also a good opportunity to market the game itself and I think would not require a major over haul.
Re: [Update] What has happened to our sim
Wanted to pass along that I spoke with sim-master Mike W last night on the phone (for the 1st time) for about 45 min and gave me an update on where he stands as well as other issues related to why things slowed down. This started because I emailed him last week after Roys started this topic related to the state of the sim and I gave him a real-person account of things and it really hit home with him.
While I won't get into specifics, he said the viewer will be here sooner rather and later and he will be able to loosen his "real life" job workload even sooner than that and be able to begin updating the game.
While he didn't have specifics, he did give me what his initial "big" goals are. But once he gets time to sit down and put it on paper, things may change.
I don't want to give dates because I don't want to put added pressure on him or get players down when things don't happen. But he assures me that time is coming.
