As always, anything of interest from your NWRC barns this week!! I will be over at Old Friends at Cabin Creek tomorrow for an Open House ,showing the lucky visitors our great retired horses so by the time I return Sat. evening I hope to read some good stories.

What we need at the NWRC Tracks are about 30 carded $2000.00 Claimer Races that have 20 entries allowed then maybe I could find a race that would give me a winner

Ok week for my NWRC stables with totals of 19(3-4-5) but no Stakes wins.

My poker numbers are 2,3,4 which probably isnt good for anything--I will check tomorrow. (yawn) Got to get some sleep. Rich

Barilla tried hard but finished where she started - 3rd. Ooops, that's real life - well, my Sim horses didn't do even that well - ok, maybe they did the same sort of finished where they started - thing. The brightest spot - I did win the LL contest as Best Guest fiiiiinnnnnnnnnaaaally broke her maiden at 16/1.

Overall doesn't seem bad when you put it on paper, but seemed a lot worse when watching the races, haha!

Nothing spectacular came from these races as my stakes runners didn't produce much, or at least what i was expecting.

Ran my usual 5 barns on rotation and ran both 2-man stables to try and bolster the numbers in the final week (failed misrably...sorry Rich).

Entered 62 horses for ...

5 winners - 3 allowances, an msw and one claimer ... nothing special

4 seconds, 7 thirds, another 15 bp bearing positions and 31 also rans

All those runners and only dredged up 369 bp's ... this game is killing me!!!

On to 4582 I guess!!!

That's ok Rharfo--I didn't have any 2 man winners this week either! Was this really the last week--seems like we just started. Oh, well, better luck next time.

Back to real life - Barilla managed a third last Sunday but we closed out the month with a 7 length victory on Monday with cash receipt. That was pretty awesome. He didn't go very fast but he is so big and with such a long stride he did it very easy. Paid well too! WOO HOO!!!!
