Bluegrass Derby/Oaks mini-Handicapping Contest

Two part contest:

1) Select the "double" for the Bluegrass Derby & Kentucky Oaks
2) Correctly select the Handicapping Triple Crown (only the Bluegrass, Middle Jewel, New Yorker races)

Part 1)
Correctly select the winner of both races this week. Will also be run each ensuing triple crown week.

Prize: 100 credits* per week
Tiebreaker: Combined SP of both winners

* Pot will not carry over if no winner

Part 2)
Select the Triple Crown race winners for each leg for the male division only. Doesn't need to be the same horse. You just need to handicap the winner of each leg, and thus if you correctly select the winner of each leg, you win the Handicapper Triple Crown.

Prize: 300 credits or prize horse
Tiebreaker: SP of horse winning the New Yorker

I went with Silverton on the main message board picks contest, so thought I'd give myself another option and take my second choice here. I still think Silverton looks like the best horse in the field.

Closest winner to the double was Hobby with 2nd (Final Exit, Oaks) & 1st (Ras El Hanout, Derby).

Hobby also continues forward with the Handicapping Triple Crown. He was the only person to correctly select the Derby winner. Please check back in 2 weeks to select your Middle Jewel winner.

Just missing out on the double was Gavin who selected both his horses and he ended up with a 1st (Oaks) & 4th (Derby).
