New Handicapping Contest

Let's try something for our handicappers. I'm open to tweaks, so let me know your thoughts. We'll call it Handicapper Survivor.

Contest would last for 5 weeks.

The contest starts the first week with 5 graded/stakes races, and each participant will select one horse from each race. The finishes of each horse will be added together and the highest cumulative total will be eliminated. Tiebreaker will be the winning SP of one those selected races.

Example: Player A's horses finished 2, 5, 1, 4, 3 (15 total) and Player B's horses finished 5, 5, 1, 3, 7 (21 total). Player B would be eliminated.

The next week, there will be only 4 races to choose from and the highest will be eliminated and so on and so forth until we reach the last week when ONE race will be available.

All remaining participants will pick there horse and tiebreaker will be lowest combined finishes from the week before. If that's a tie, then we go back another week, etc etc.

So if Player A and B select the same horse that wins, then we will revert to the cumulative total from the prior week, etc.

Prizes:
250 credits + 25 for each participant.

Sounds like a good contest to me. Not too time intensive, but a cool way to do a handicapping contest.
