NWRC Participating in Sim Poly Track Contest

Post by sledge4 »

You may or may not have seen a post on the main Sim MB about someone running a Poly track, but I entered the NWRC into it.

As of right now the races would be Oct 5th and include these races...

2 year old colts 6 furlongs
2 year old fillies 6 furlongs

3yo colts 6.5 and 8 furlong
3yo fillies 6.5 and 8 furlongs

4+ colts 7 and 8.5 furlongs
4+ fillies and mares 7 and 8.5 furlongs

Currently besides us, ESR, URC, SARA, and Minnesota are participating.

Hopefully I made a good decision to participate.

Has anyone been running on Poly tracks? They are hopeful to only have horses that are "poly track" runners participate.

Let me know your thoughts.

Will

That is why they have the races far enough in advance, to give everyone time to find if they have a "poly" horse or not.

I will gladly sponsor some poly races over the next few weeks if anyone is interested? Maybe one at 6f, 8f, and 9f?

Let me know.

I do have one horse that I recently claimed, who does fairly decent on the turf. However, I think it would be good to throw the horse on a poly track, and see how she does. It's a 2yo filly, and looks to be the most promising horse I've had in awhile. Will try on dirt to see her possible eligibility on poly. Good luck to all other contenders.

I sponsored 3 poly races if you want to try the horses in those. I made a most in this forum.
