Residency contest

Smoke is having a contest - don't know if NWRC wants to play but there are only 3 spots left.

Ok gang, we've done the personal ones, now it's team stuff.

It's going to be a residency challenge.

Each residency can breed 2 (2 Yr olds), un-raced and enter.

Going to go Dirt this time, we need some Derby hopefuls.

So, can the Rez manager post (only Rez manager) that you are interested,

Any members of that Rez can breed 2 "open" races in MSW event. (so the Team Or Rez manger has to decide which 2 horses that will represent their rez). Only 2 horses will represent the rez.

Same deal with the 5f, 6f, 7f races with 2 yr olds.

So the challenge is this:

The 1st leg will be. Combined scores/speeds from your 2 horses. Top 6 teams make rd 2. If tie, both rez's will contine.

The 2nd leg at 6f.. BOTH horses run again in 5 weeks, best COMBINED score gets into top 4 teams.

The 7f race on dirt will be the finale. Each residency picks their representative who will go for the gold. So just one pony is selected in finale.

So 1st 10 residencies (please be a manager, or got permission from) is in.

Prizes:

1st: 5000 creds to Rez
2nd: 3000 creds to Rez
3rd: 2000 creds to Rez

I don't think with only four active members that we can put up a challenge but I would be willing to breed one two year old for the contest.

That's true - it would be a bit hard but maybe we could come up with something if I only understood how it is supposed to work (see Qld board).
