Trainer Contest

I've been talking with YOSS about using his tools to restart our trainer competition.

The only concern right now is that his program doesn't account for track-based results, meaning all stables will generate stats for any track, not just "NWRC" tracks.

Question to you... do you prefer it being track based or should we just open it to all tracks? I have my opinion, but I'll save it until I hear responses.

He did say he could upgrade it to where we could pick the tracks, but I wanted to get feedback before I asked him to send that time.

i say use our tracks to make it more challenging but i can go with it either way...

I think it should be track-based. A residency is a grouping of tracks which its members are supposed to reside at. That being said, either way is really fine.

I have spoken with Yoss and he is adding in the ability to make the stats track specific. Should have something up and running soon (fingers crossed)!! He's been very gracious in his time and efforts thus far, please support and/or use the Yoss tools (website).

Will be nice to be able to give out credits to our active residents. Maybe it will also generate interest from our inactive residents and/or a couple new additions.

As an FYI... I will only be including the residents that are active or become active. All stables that currently support the residency, but the owner doesn't actually participate at the residency will not be included.

Yoss kindly added the ability to make the stats track-based, so I am in testing now. He also posted on the forum that he is making the public (ie, other residencies) aware of the upgraded tool(s).
