Sim Pedigree Page

Post by jacklad »

I've made up a page that will show your future sim breeds in Sim Pedigree page. (this is done using google docs)
The instuctions for use are in the page.

Pedigree Page

Best to use on a PC or Laptop with good internet connection.

Thanks,

Think Jubal is the one to answer that.
After all he is the one all over the Graded and Stakes winners page

True. ha

I know there are some things to look for, but I never pay close attention. I would like to take a shot at one or two chances to breed a classic horse again, but want to spend wisely. Haven't had a top horse since Awesome Force 10700007069.

Very nice horse wish I could get one like that.

Maybe Jubal should give me breeds to do for NWRC stables, oh well we'll see how rest of year goes.

OUT OF SHAPE is probably my best so far.

" but want to spend wisely."
Good luck with that LOL .... The key to breeding Graded horses is breed high cost, High percentage sires, DS and DDS and breed often. Look for Sires that are doing well recently and be ready to get them at a moments notice. To get a shalt after top sire you need to Bid 1001 credits and hope you win the lotto. When and if you get the desired Sire then getting the DS and DDS is just as important as the sire and you may have to use the bid system on them also . In the end if you get all that you want, you may end up with a dud, But most likely you will end up with a Money maker.

Getting a Graded runner if you do what I said above is still only about a 20% chance and may take up to 20 breeding's. But using mid line sires its about a 3% chance and 60 breeding's, If you pay attention to who's hot and who's not as a sire this will help your chances a lot. I believe sires in this game are on some sort of Biorhythm (remember pixel pony's are made up with numbers) So if you have A great sire it may have a chance to breed a horse using a rating between 1 and 5, 1 being and exact copy of said sire and 5 being 5% below. Depending on where the Biorhythm is at the time you use or purchase the sire (not sure which) will determent the outcome of the sire percentage you get, This is also true of the DS and DDS.

Example: Jungle Pirate LION HEART x DEHERE x CARO
Mid line breeding across the board, But I must have got lucky and hit 1s on all 3 (by the way best horse I have ever bred) his cost was 400 credits. I was using Lion Heart and was getting some great runners From Stakes to graded runners, then nothing even with top DS and DDS he was producing dogs and I have noticed the same with top sires, But top sires seem to recover their top Biorhythm Numbers A lot faster . Thats when this theory started to take shape (remember this is only a theory in my mad little mind and not proven) I think it still comes down to luck but maybe this will make you a little luckier.

TIP:
I put a 10 credit bid on all top sires, DS and DDS, That way you can go to your "My Share Bids" page and have them all for you to look at without jumping around so much and remember all the sires you are keeping an eye on.

To get the sires you want remember PATIENCE,PATIENCE,PATIENCE Grab them while you can and wait for the rest. If you have the 3 horse combo you want in your mind, Stick with it don't compromise for something less(unless it is something better <~~~ I'm a Pirate)

I had two graded runners last week, I have 3 graded runners this week and next. Before trying to stick with the above plan in 6 years out of 10 years playing time I had one graded 3 runner

Thanks Jubal!

Isn't there something to watch for in the 5x, like the 3Dx4D stuff. Can't happen to early in the tree?

If there is I cant find it ? I have went both ways on the Dosage and nothing consistent
as far as crossbreeding or inbreeding nothing consistent there either, *Northern Dancer* you can inbreed as well as *Storm Cat* but I do stay away from direct inbreeding such as *Tale of the cat* to a *Tale of the Cat*

OK so a bit of breeding talk goin on lol.

Pretty sure the Sim doesn't bother much about inbreeding and outcrosses but i'm sure some would argue the case.
As long as there not too inbred i.e like 1Sx2D. Might not even let you breed that one.
Example

Anyways,

Seeing as how I'm in lockdown and bored I've made this page that shows which sires have had more than 1 horse in the top 100 ranked 2yo's both fillies and colts together.
Beause it would take too long to link the horses I've linked the stables so you could look at them there.

Top 2yo Dirt Sires

Top 2yo Turf Sires
