The Equinics

Post by lilbitfarm »

We won 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals for 7 points. Not so great but we showed up and competed which is what the Equinics are all about. It was a fun day of racing-Thanks to ldyssecret and the Pastures gang.

As far as my horses:

Winstar's BLUE RAISIN (KY) ran a great race in the dirt mile closing from 10th to finish second a couple of lengths behind the BB winner, posting a very solid 109 SF. Her LT record is now 18 (9-6-0) with over 500K in earnings. This tough filly is just a joy to have in the barn. :D

Capetown's CALLISON (KY) tried his best but at 6 is no longer a Graded race threat. He beat a few horses, checking in 7th, 21 lengths back. :(

I thought that Seniorbarn's THROUGH THE YEARS (KY) was sitting on a big race but it was not to be. She finished a respectable 5th, 7 back but was not a factor in the 12f dirt race.

Better luck next time. Hopefully we will have a few more members to beef up the team!!

My horses had a horrific day at the Equinics...

Riva went off at 56/1  placed 18th came back Sharp

Dynimight went off at 15/1  placed 14th very disapionted

Nettie went off at 14/1  placed 12th came back Sharp

Smarty Joan went off at 9/1 one of the second favorites but had nothing placed 7th

They all ran like the were packing a 200lb Jockey

Let's hope there are better things to come in 2012.
