Contest #2: Victory Tour

Post by sledge4 »

New contest that I've been wanting to run and some others suggested it, so here we are!

- Post a Victory are each of the 20 NWRC tracks.

- All residency stables eligible. If you want to bring non-residency stables, must do so prior to contest beginning.

- Contest starts Week 4771, Aug 13th. End date is unknown.

- Prizes TBD.

I honestly have no idea how long this contest will take. What we could do is something like 3 2nd place finishes = 1 win at a track? Or 5 3rd place finishes = 1 win? Just a thought!

Any questions, let me know.

Will

I am in. My question is whether we pick one stable or more than one or all our stables are automatically included?

Can you list the 20 tracks somewhere? I'm in - but if people can use ALL their stables to post wins - there ought to be some kind of a prize for the one that uses the least. I mean if someone has 20 + stables here - the contest could concievably be over in one week.

The track list can be found here.

Roys - That's an interesting idea!

I guess we need to decide what an appropriate prize list would be for something that could be long lasting. I would guess since it's a long running contest, there needs to be a healthy pot at the end.

You guys tell me what is reasonable and fair and we'll go from there.

Many years ago when I was young(er) and enthusuastic, I had lots of stables. I found I could not adaquatley run them all and the time it took to enter etc soon took away from my game enjoyment. I got rid of all my stables and only have 8 left - two here, two at each of three other residencies.

So I vote for two stables - LOL

I think 2 or 3 stables sounds most interesting. And maybe the 3 seconds provision thrown in as well. Just my thoughts.

I only have 4 stables - so if this contest was open to unlimited stables, it would be pointless for me to even enter.

Probably the easiest answer here would be to let each person play with as many stables as they want.....BUT........ count each stable individually.

Count me in...

I agree with roys, that we could use all stables individually.
